So I want to know, what have you made, or what have you been making/working on lately, crafters?

As for me, I've made a ton of potion bottle necklaces to sell in the last few days for when my parents went camping, my most recent one being one I've made for myself:

Wooooah, both of those are absolutely gorgeous!

I don't remember what the measurements are :c If it helps give an idea, the thing my potion is sitting on is a candle glass (roughly the size of a shot glass) turned upside down c: Unfortunately you only get the cool glowy effect out of them when there's light shining through them though

Ah thank you ^^; They're so much fun to make.

Ahh they seem small and really cute! I love tiny little bottles like that. I bet you could get cool glow in the dark liquid to put in them, XD Have you considered putting glitter in there, too? Glitter makes everything better.

They look awesome c:

Aww, thanks! You know, I know how to get glow in the dark stuff in them, but it's rather expensive x) After I save up a bit I'm going to order some. The glow never runs out and just recharges by light, plus it's a pretty blue color c: Glitter is also on my to do list for them, haha! I just worry that the glitter will all sink to the bottom, but at the same time it might act like a snow globe, haha! The liquid inside them is thick and viscous, and I don't allow it to dry so that it gives a realistic potion feeling c:

The small wrapped wire on the Elf Ear is not as neat as it could be (it was my first try!) but it turned out alright. Very fiddly indeed. I tend to like fiddly crafts.

Yeah, with the glitter thing it's best to use glucose syrup or something like that. Something with a little bit of density. I was gonna suggest just buying a load of glow sticks, but they tend to only last for a few hours. Your glowy stuff sounds MUCH better. Do you do colours other than blue? I bet a red would look so divine.

I think it looks awesome! My sister does a lot of jewelery with wire wrapping, and she has some awesome designs, but that's one of the coolest wire wrapping things I've ever seen, haha! My sister likes to make swirly looking wire bracelets and necklace charms.

I thought about the glowsticks for a while, but I ended up happening upon the glow stuff on etsy one day out of chance. So far the colors I've seen are blue, blue-green, purple, and orange, but the guy that makes the stuff might make different colors in the future c:

Danke ^^; I'm trying to figure out how to make nice jewellery out of wire. It's tricky business.

I wonder if you could put two colours together and mix them to get another? That would be cool. Etsy is like the best place to find absolutely anything. XD Is there anything it doesn't have?!

I think you're off to a good start at least c:

Hm, well, the only problem is the glow material isn't a liquid, rather, small rocks/powder, but maybe I could layer the colors one on top of the other c: True, true, haha!

Oooh, a powder?! Wow that's really cool. You could try just mixing them. A great excuse to get a pestle and mortar! And pretend you're making magic potions. I like this idea. You could even do rainbow layering? Oh gosh this sounds like such fun. Too bad though, if it's quite expensive.

SPOILER (click to toggle) I also grew some of my own crystal seeds! Now I need to figure out how to use them to make bigger ones.

True! It is expensive though, so I might not be able to do that for a long time.

How cool! I don't think I've seen anything quite like that before c:

It's actually super easy to grow the seeds! It's just Alum, which is a type of salt. You can buy the powder and all you need to do is dissolve it in some water and let it evaporate. It takes quite a while, but eventually you'll have these. In theory, if you suspend the "seeds" in a solution, it will start to grow but my attempts have not proven successful so I need to try and figure out how to do that! After that, I think I'd paint them with a clear nail varnish to keep them from getting damaged and try and incorporate them somehow in to jewellery.

Most things are expensive, sadly. And you don't see much of a return at the start, that's why it's so easy to just give up. At least you have something to aim for! It would be such a good addition to such a cute piece of jewellery.
